Tilt-Shift Campus

31 January 2013

Evening light falls on the True Blue Campus of St. George's University as we fly near stall speed of the Cessna 172. "The sunlight is almost gone and I can't shoot a fast enough shutter speed. Can we fly a little slower," I ask the pilot.

"Any slower and we'll fall out of the sky," she replied.

"Um, right. This is good."

Staying IN the sky is best, really.

What did you do to these pictures to make them look like miniature models?

It always, always surprises me how like a toy scene tilt-shift photography makes everything look.
