Deceptively Cold

Don't let the warm colors fool you - it was most certainly a cold morning along the Chobe River in northern Botswana. Tourists were bundled in sweaters and blankets for sunrise game drives in open-sided Land Rovers.

Even the animals decided it was too cold to rise for a morning drink - our first sighting was nearly an hour after sunrise.
