Better Judgement

The urge to joy ride in the sand was strong, but Avi's better judgement cut through the playground in my mind. "This isn't your Land Rover," she said. I lowered my gaze to the steering wheel in my hands. A bright Toyota T reflected the evening sun and I suddenly remembered we were driving a rental Corolla.
