Under the Wing

At first glance, the line to enter the KC-10 Extender was going to be too long. But as we ventured across the tarmac it became clear that most of the Air Expo crowd was just sheltering from the mid-day sun under the air-to-air refueler's wing.

In all fairness it was an oppressively hot, muggy July afternoon.
A thick haze obscured the blue sky but did not shield us from the heat.
But over the years I've come to know this kind of heat as Morning in Grenada. ;-)
