Sunrise Greeting

After a week in Minnesota visiting friends and family, The Wife and I decided to take a Good 'ole American Road Trip and journey by car to the American Southwest to see some of its natural wonders.

We left Minnesota around lunchtime on a Sunday, drove all day through Iowa and Nebraska, ascended the Rocky Mountains as night fell and descended the peaks before dawn. We were welcomed into Utah by the rising sun and this roadside desert vista.
