Vogue

I made a round of phone calls to my family in the USA last week, telling them about spending several days at the yacht club for the billfish tournament. I tried my best to explain the sights and sounds (even smells) of the competition, but as soon as they heard the words 'yacht club' I got the impression they began to call on decades worth of Tommy Hilfiger advertisements for visual reference.

I suppose years ago I would have done the same, but without a single wool scarf or popped collar in sight, this image has become my yacht club vogue.
