Not in Kansas Anymore

Early in June, I had a whirlwind four day photo assignment in Manhattan. It was my first trip to The Big Apple since I was a toddler, and after six years of towering palm trees in the tropics, seeing concrete towers from my hotel room window was a bit of a shock to the senses.

Currently, the tallest building in Grenada has six stories. I had to take a moment to recalibrate myself when I saw the multitude of buttons on the hotel's elevator console while my West Indian travel companion reminded me that "we're not in Kansas anymore".
