Before splitting in two different directions for our North American Adventures in July, Avi and I had a chance to meet a dear friend of ours for lunch at the Houston airport. Karen, among many things, is a Trinidadian born engineer-lawyer-mother-writer-photographer who we've kept in touch with over the years via her photoblog Chookooloonks.
Karen explains our history so much better than I can, plus she's got more pictures and says really kind things about me, so I might as well let her do the talking. ;-)
We had a great lunch, and as I expected, Karen's writing/photography is a direct reflection of her fabulousness... I'm not the kind of guy to use the word fabulous. But, yeah. Fabulous.
