4th of July

My sister and her children took me to a 4th of July parade in their small* town yesterday.

It was quiet and entertaining, and a bit of a culture shock (a parade without loud music trucks booming soca for miles?!), but I was able to catch up on some classic cusine (sweet corn, mini-donuts, corn dogs, and parade candy). Good times.

*Small = Population of 65.
