22° Halo

A beautiful atmospheric phenomenon appeared in the skies above Grenada today. The circular rainbow appeared as the sunlight refracted through ice crystals suspended high in the atmosphere.

The 22° Halo appeared for a short time during the lunch hour, giving us out-and-about folks plenty of opportunity to disregard Mom's advice to never look directly into the sun. :-)
