Master Birder

It's been a while since I've uploaded any work related imagery... So let's start off with a few from last weekend at a field workshop lead by ornithologist Dr. Jack Kirkley.

Dr. Kirkley, a licensed Master Bird Bander, is a visiting professor at St. George's University and full time faculty at The University of Montana-Western.

Meeting up at the La Sagesse Nature Preserve, participants from Grenada's Ministry of Agriculture (Forestry Department) and interested undergraduate faculty were engaged in learning the techniques of mist-netting and banding birds.
