::whew::
I've just wrapped up a month long assignment archiving the daily activities of an academic summer camp here in Grenada... St. George's University holds the summer activities for youngsters interested in pursuing careers as physicians and veterinarians.
Between the two ten-day sessions (one for high schoolers, one for college students) I photographed rainforest adventures, cadaver labs, hands-on clinical skill building, dolphin watching, dinner parties, med/vet dissections, spice market shopping, rectal palpations on cattle, beach barbecues, sailing/snorkeling trips...
Each day we uploaded photo updates to a University gallery to keep friends and families in the loop on how their loved ones were keeping busy.
It was a whirlwind of smiles and shutter releases, and my cameras and I are ready for a few days of quiet rest before I catch up on phone calls and podcasts.
In the photo: Aris anxiously awaits the moment he introduces academy participants to the cadaver lab. It's fun to watch the kids' first reactions to the preserved human bodies.
