I had the pleasure of shooting a young English couple's wedding over the weekend. The weather was perfect, the loving families were hysterically fun, and the great light helped pull everything together nicely... Not to mention the beautiful, upscale location.
After the ceremony and dinner, the bride and groom had their first dance in a dimly lit pavilion. During the dance, I kept noticing someone lurking in the shadows behind them; what looked like someone in an odd tribal loincloth and glitter.
"Nah," I thought to myself. "Couldn't be." It was just too odd (especially at a $400+ per person, per night all-inclusive resort).
Sure enough, after the dance, the resort's entertainment manager grabbed a microphone and made an announcement. "We at La Source would like to present a surprise gift to the newlyweds..."
Out walks the gentlemen above, who performed an amazing fire-eating dance; entertaining the wedding party and dozens of hotel guests who had gathered around to steal a glimpse of the bride and groom.
