"I like his camera," says a young man.who was behind me.
"Do you want him to take your picture?" asks the soldier.

I turned around and smiled. "I'm always game for a photo op."

The soldier is a member of the Royal Grenada Police Force's paramilitary unit - the Special Services Unit (SSU). Kind of like a hybrid SWAT team. They are the defense force for the nation; handling anything from diplomatic protection to regional peacekeeping.
