Spice Sold Seperately

If you ever plan a trip to Grenada and have a several hundred dollars to spare (who doesn't?!), Spice Island Beach Resort is a fantastic hotel.

From time to time my friends and I hang out here. The bar/lounge is laid back and relaxing, giving us a reminder of the modern conveniences we left back home.

At what point does modern convenience become luxury? After adjusting to life on the island, hot water from the faucet is a luxury. Somehow, beach-side cocktails are not.

The bar/lounge is the closest Avi & I will ever come to staying at the resort...
Low season rates start at ~$700 USD a night.
