TEMPO Television was taping a concert on the island back in March...
Local and regional soca music artists were featured along with a few cultural dance groups.

The local artists performed far better than the regional artists - one of whom was a last minute no-show that sent the promoters scrambling for a replacement.

TEMPO, a subsidiary of MTV Networks, is a "music driven lifestyle channel for Caribbean people and for lovers of Caribbean culture".
