When I first came to Grenada I had solicitations shouted at me from this location on a daily basis.
"Taxi!"
"A taxi for you sir?"
"Where do you want to go? You want a tour?"
Fair skin is usually an indication of tourist status, but over time I have become familiar and shouted at less often. I don't know if they really recognize my face or maybe just my camera. Either way, when I pass by the fine gentlemen they no longer jump at the chance to offer me a ride. Maybe some day I'll need a taxi - and when I do I'll enjoy surprising them with my request.
