Many people, including me, questioned Grenada's ability to be ready for its Cricket World Cup matches...

Many people, including me, were pleasantly surprised.

The stadium was built by the Chinese as a gift to the people of Grenada following Hurricane Ivan's total destruction of their previous (uninsured) national stadium. The island will host six "Super 8" matches between April 10-20, 2007.
